Getting BTC back from blockchain ledger

Mon Mar 04, 2019 11:55 am

Hello. I’m a bitcoin beginner and it seems like no matter where I go, every explanation sounds like gibberish to me. I was looking to this as a source of income but now kind of regretting it because I can’t seem to get how this works.

I traded on localbitcoin.com and was sending the BTC from that wallet to my bitcoin.com wallet. My BTC wallet received the BTC but then I saw it was automatically sent to the blockchain ledger. It’s been 2 days and I haven’t seen any changes.

Will it get sent back to my BTC wallet at some point or is there something I need to do to get it back into my BTC wallet?

PLEASE HELP!!

P.S. please try and use a “REAL DUMMY” explanation. Much appreciated, thanks in advance :)

Hello,

Could you please email the Bitcoin.com wallet support team for assistance: wallet@bitcoin.com
I do not understand what you are referring to when you say "automatically sent to the blockchain ledger"

Please provide us with a screenshot of your Bitcoin.com "wallets" page, and any other screenshots you think will help us understand what has happened.
Bitcoin.com has no access to users wallets at all, so we rely on screenshots and information to provide the best support possible.

is there any possibility of recovering bitcoin? I have sent my portal 36csec2TtEgCihdevyTKNGyLuGyqRdV2iV to my address. I do not have access to it. Bitcoin 7b458a152f208ef774abf5ffbe5193bdf322cacfaf762d3a2bf13155bbf837d6 transaction

If you really have no access to it, then no, you can't recover the Bitcoin. That would be the same as trying to recover Bitcoin from any arbitrary wallet/address by trying to find a private key.

On the other hand, what was the "portal" and is the address given that of the portal which holds a private key, or did you mean to say you transferred out of this portal to that address which is your BTC address? The only way to recover in that case is to investigate the wallet. Was it on a phone, a Web wallet, something else? Did you write down a recovery seed? (Usually 12+ words, optionally with a passphrase to encrypt).

I think the chances so far are slim, but if you have any more information I can try my best to help.

All the best.
