Currently, there are 705 cryptocurrencies out in the wild being traded every single day. For seven years, Bitcoin has remained the top gun of all the various altcoins within the industry, and there are many reasons why this is the case. Let’s take a look at why there’s a good chance this will continue for a while.

We'll see great progress for crypto-currency in the coming weeks, a HF of Ethereum followed by a HF of Bitcoin.

Satoshi will be right on this one, increasing the block-size and moving away from centrally planned developers such as Core. As you mentioned in your article, he didn't develop this for banks or governments. These entities have access to the technology to make their own peer 2 peer cash payment systems and they are.
