Hi Victor,I've read a few entries on transferring bch to btc ,and I'm very confused. Yes I'm brand new to bitcoin so please explain to me in simple terms how to achieve this. Also it seems that I'm losing bitcoin each day with out touching it, why is this.

It's not possible to transfer BCH to BTC (two different chains). If you accidentally sent BCH to a BTC wallet (or BTC to BCH) the receiving party (whether that's you or someone else) may be able to recover the coins since the private keys are the same on each chain. If BCH was sent to a BTC wallet what's really happened is you've sent to BCH to BCH address which is identical to the BTC address. If you (or whoever owns the BTC address) import, or sweep, the BTC private key into a BCH wallet you'll have access to the BCH.
In regard to losing bitcoin each day that should not happen. Maybe you're looking at the market value which is always changing (up or down).
Thank you, let me give that a shot. I assume I can transfer my bitcoin to the shapeshift? You may not be able to directly swap BCH to BTC within the Bitcoin.com wallet, but you can do so using a variety of methods.
One way is with sites like ShapeShift.io. Although ShapeShift are very good and have been offering a great service o the community for years, you will now have to setup a verified account to trade. this is due to usual KYC laws.
There is a Bitcoin.com news story here that may offer some different alternatives: https://news.bitcoin.com/four-alternati ... hapeshift/
