Breadwallet launches Android wallet, currently in beta testing

Bitcoin startup Breadwallet has officially launched their bitcoin wallet application on the Android platform. The wallet is currently in open beta testing, supporting the first 1000 beta users.

I managed to get in on the beta. This is a very nice wallet! I look forward to trying it out to compare to Mycelium I usually use.

I like this wallet. Because of the way Breadwallet integrates with Android Marshmallow it is probably the most secure wallet that is easily usable. I would have no problem keeping a few bitcoin on it. The most secure way to use bitcoin on Android is to use Trezor or Ledger to sign transactions in Mycelium, Breadwallet is runner up and much more convenient (no USB cables.)
