I've read the original article and it seems US regulators are suggesting an effort to work with other regulators from around the world to begin enforcing regulations on crypto-currencies.

When a security drops from high 700s to low 600s this quickly, it is a sign of manipulation in the market. This will get regulators involved.

Whoever is manipulating Bitcoin's price, you need to slow it down. You are bringing too much attention.
