Exchange wallets - One way limited blocksize encourages centralization.

Sun Jun 19, 2016 10:23 pm

I've noticed that quite a few of the people having no issue with transactions during the backup were using exchange wallet like Coinbase and Circle. These kind of companies can afford the higher fees, combine transactions, and have better estimation then the average user ever will. It wont be long until more people realize this and start using those wallets for every day transactions. Eventually only hard core bitcoiners will be able to hold their own private keys and be able to get transactions though. We will end up with a few centralized wallets. Wallets on services that could go under and take peoples coins with them anytime.

Bitcoin is headed in a bad direction, there is no doubt about that.

The bankers I speak to laugh about Bitcoin because they are working on their own blockchain technology.

People will move to new solutions and already are!
