My post is deleted without notification!

Sat Jun 11, 2016 10:41 am

I used to look up to this forum as a temple of free speech. But it seems I was mistaken. I asked feedback about an apparently new gambling website (www.bitcoinbetting.website) in bitcoin discussion. It seems the post is deleted. A Private Message from scriptopisanie: "Bitcoin-Free-Bot" is being shown. But, the message is not opening. I dont know if this OM has anything to do with the removal of my last post. I would expect the post to be restored at the earliest.

Hi CanaryInTheMine,

I have just looked into this and it seems your post was moved to the Trashcan by one of our moderators, 'LiteCoinGuy', on Fri Jun 10, 2016 8:22 am.
It seems he may have been running through the forum for spam and inadvertently removed your thread, either mistakenly or because he meant to move it to 'Gambling' where it should have been posted. It has now been restored to the 'Gambling' sub-forum; please accept my apologies on behalf of the moderation team for this error.

All threads / posts which are moved to the Trashcan are held there for 2 weeks before being purged from the system. This gives users a chance to find their thread / post there if they feel it has been wrongly removed, and gives us a chance to review any errors such as the one above. We hope that this demonstrates that we are committed to transparency and are completely opposed to censorship.

The private message from 'scriptopisanie' won't open as that user was banned for spreading spam via messaging, one of the few things that can get a user banned.

Thanks for your time, and my apologies once again,

Fremont
