NO Local languages?

Sat Sep 19, 2015 5:33 pm

Seems it's better to add more local languages for community members to take part in.

Agree with this, i like that there's a new forum
but we need more subsections.

Feel free to suggest the sections in here and we can make it happen!

The exact process on how this will be done is not yet decided upon - but I am picturing along the lines of a vote taking place for 24-48 hours to yay or nay a certain forum section. Until then, I'll probably just add them as we go along until we've grown bigger.

The biggest "problem" with local language forum sections is that we need users and moderators. As an example, adding a forum section because we have exactly one user with Arabic as their native tounge would make no sense - but if enough people (just a few needed) vote a thumbs up on a certain forum section, then I don't see why we can't make it happen.

While we're on that topic - yes, the plan is ofcourse to localize the entire forum for a large number of languages, but only once we've landed in what design and modules we will be using. (The design will most likely change to something more modern in the next couple of weeks.)
