Serving the needs of our multi-language audience, we already translated our decentralized trading platform into 10 languages. Now we’re getting even closer to you by enabling Chinese and Korean versions at dex.openledger.io.

And that’s not all! We also hired community managers for Asian markets to communicate with you on local social media channels:

[center]OpenLedger DEX Announcement on Some Gateways

Following your numerous requests for optimizing the speed of transactions on our trading platform, we performed its technical audit.

The audit revealed fully operational gateways for a number of coins that had remained nearly unused or hadn’t been active for a long time. It means that most of these coins haven’t been deposited, withdrawn, or traded for months. Besides, many projects that launched the coins are already closed, and their websites are not available.

After careful consideration of these facts, we arrived at a decision to disable these gateways at OpenLedger DEX. Such a procedure fully complies with the terms and conditions of our listing agreement with official token representatives.

11 coins will be disabled:
AMP
IVC
CLOAK
ECH
NBC
STU
WAX
LIF
EMC
PURA
ARN

On October 19, their gateways will be disabled on OpenLedger DEX. Note: EMC, PURA and ARN deposits and withdrawals are already disabled.

For other coins, withdrawal operations will be available till November 2, 2018. After that date, token holders will be able to withdraw their funds with the help of the Support Team.

[center]Hong Kong Issues New Rules to Regulate Cryptocurrency Funds and Exchanges

In what it called “guidance on regulatory standards,” the autonomous Chinese territory’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) set in motion a series of steps that chief Ashley Alder hinted would culminate in a formal regulatory environment.

Hong Kong differs significantly in its approach to cryptocurrency from mainland China, with cryptoasset exchange and related activities legal, though formal regulation is pending.

“The market for virtual assets is still very young and trading rules may not be transparent and fair,” Bloomberg quoted Alder as saying during a fintech forum Thursday:

“Outages are not uncommon as is market manipulation and abuse. And there are also, I am afraid, outright scandals and frauds.”

Please make sure complete all the necessary operations with the tokens in question prior to January 18, 2019. Their support will be unavailable from January 18, 2019 onwards.
