In fact at this moment you strangely sound like someone who would be overinvested in an asset class and is experiencing loss aversion. You once told me you were all Bitcoin no fiat. I hope it's not true for someone who has accumulated so much wealth. My advice anyway would be sell some more and you will feel much more peaceful and less worried about Bitcoin's future
From what I know of Roger this isn't an issue of "loss aversion" or worry about his own financial position, it's his absolute faith in Bitcoin, his concern for something he has put years of his life into helping grow, and his belief in its potential to free the world from the type of governance that restricts individual freedom. In that I fully support him, and feel that anyone who believes in an individual's right to be free should do the same.

Bitcoin has been hi-jacked and is in immediate danger.

I can assure you, 99% of the qualities you signed up to Bitcoin for are about to be lost.

They tell us to go to an alt-coin, not a chance. You aren't going to steal from me and millions around the world by charging 45 cent fees. You aren't going to eliminate my privacy and bring forth the risk of seizing my holdings. If I wanted to use a bank, I would. These are not your calls to make.

We currently have a large threat which are banks, governments, Adam Back, Blockstream and a hell of a lot of dirty miners.

I asked one person what they thought of all the information I hold and they said, "well that completely defeats the purpose of bitcoin, its not bitcoin anymore".

This is not what I signed up for and I can assure you that I will be fighting to derail their efforts.

I will be circulating the information I need to the right people.

You greedy destructive scammers.

Your plan will fail.

Right now, there is no evidence that a bump with the block size to 2MB will not be enough.
Here is your evidence:

I have been looking at the block sizes found in the last couple of week and almost all a very close to the limit, even this one that looks like it is at the limit of 1MB https://blockchain.info/block-height/412257

I have not really picked a side in the scaling debate because i don't know enough about the code myself to know what would be better but i do know that something must be done. It looks to me on some debates that the topic could almost be called should we let bitcoin become available to the mainstream adoption

I like the old values of core and would be happy to stick with that if the solution they are working on proves to be fair to all.
Classic may not have been tested enough for me but i really don't know what I'm talking about here just what i read from different sites around the net.

Whatever they need to do something has to be done soon and this matter finalised so the "bitcoin brains" can get back to working on the same page (if that is even possible after this but i hope so)

Then when i see blocks of this size: https://blockchain.info/block-height/412293 it makes me think why don't they just fill them but i know the miners don't have to add any transactions to a block they find and it's all a race.

Strange thing is just by having a very quick these small blocks are all mostly being found by AntPool, I'm sure if i looked harder many more pools are doing it.

Bitcoin Classic is working great for me although I would prefer the name changed to "Bitcoin Official" as thats what it really is.

Bitcoin Core has turned into scam-ware from a bunch of greedy crooks changing the direction.
