Bitcoin Ownership Breakdown and Future Prognosis

Fri May 13, 2016 12:31 pm

I'm curious as to what you think the % of Bitcoins are now institutionally owned. What do you think the future of this % will be? I remember a few years ago a chart looked like this:

How has this shifted over the years? How will this shift in the coming years?

i think the userbase of bitcoin will grow exponentially and with that the price will rise alot. most people will hold 1 ,5, 10 Coins and these people will be the majority.

Each individual investor needs to buy 20 BTC and hold it for a few years.

As for institutions, I'd say at least 20% are held by them and growing on a daily basis.
