BTC Futures- Awful for BTC?

It seems like the market tanks everytime futures are set to expire. I know it’s great having more money in the market but are futures a gift and a curse? What do you think?

It is interesting but looks to be true for now I found a chart that illustrates how disastrous BTC has performed since it started. Interesting that at the time everyone thought this was going to be the catalyst to launch BTC past 20K.
