Monetizing a blog

So I was looking into writing a blog on blockchain and cryptocurrencies but everyone is banning crypto advertisements so ad relevancy is going to decrease.

I've been looking into web mining (CoinHive and so on, with the user consent) but it is ridiculous how slow earnings are, like 10 million hashes become 2 USD (at 15 hashes per second on a normal desktop computer that's peanuts)

Other ideas I have are referral links to exchanges (can pay really well, like $10 per referral) or affiliate links to physical wallets (good payout too).

Does anybody have other ideas?
