Among other things discussed in the video were Oracles, or trusted parties, who would be allowed (in a new version of BCH) to insert data into the blockchain.

I've heard this discussed in the past (BTC videos). I'll have to learn more before I provide any sort of levelheaded thoughts or observations but right now (at 2:02 AM) it doesn't sound very good.
