Failed transactions Microsoft

Sat Jul 21, 2018 1:22 pm

Hello,

As you may or may not know, Microsoft let's you redeem bitcoin for credits.
I have made such a purchase before with no problems. Yesterday i did it again, and after 24 hours my funds still didn't appear in my account.
Their support redirected me here, saying that they cannot see my transaction.
Can anyone help me?

Hi,

I think i did hear Microsoft did start to accept bitcoins, but i can't remember what for.
Could you please provide a link to the site you use for this?

What wallet are you using, are you using the Bitcoin.com wallet?
If so you can contact our support team on: wallet@bitcoin.com

If you do contact the support team for the Bitcoin.com wallet, please provide as much information to help.
We will need to know what address you sent to, and if you have it the transaction ID.
Did you send Bitcoin Core (BTC) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Please provide a screenshot of your wallet "Home" page.

You may also find what you need by reading the wallet FAQ page first: https://wallet.enchanthq.com/

Hi thanks for posting.
First of all this is the link to Microsoft
https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments
Just under your credit balance there is a link "Redeem Bitcoin"

No i don't use Bitcoin.com wallet, but BitPay wallet.
I have sent 2 times to them
1st transaction: ID d7bb3172bfdf76aa078e4611717bfcb990a3f8b2808e421ce8752bd9349b9aed
Adress: 1AHh6f7VK3FrprPFYxnCoqdcayBqphYAqj

2nd transaction: ID 967fead70e27d3299a914e6d417ee57be92ef91dd5ba327b1312dcb60ee2432b
Adress: 1CWzLqgUZmNqJjrg4cbGcYgnEvZXf1hnoU

Everytime you send to them, the system generates a new adress.
I have sent BTC.

I can see the transactions on the blockchain. As long as the BTC was sent to the correct address, i don't know how Microsoft could dispute these transactions.
If you didn't receive what you paid for from Microsoft then i would recommend that you send them the blockchain txid links, as proof of payment.

I have no idea why they would tell you to contact us.
Bitcoin itself isn't a company, just like “gold” isn't a company - this means that there isn't any official website that speaks for Bitcoin, just like there isn't an official website representing gold.

Our website, Bitcoin.com, is simply an informative site about Bitcoin and we also offer our own services to Bitcoin users. We just do our best to put lots of information online for people, but we can't assist with any issues related to any specific company or Bitcoin wallet (other than the [Bitcoin.com wallet](https://wallet.bitcoin.com/)).

Bitcoin.com doesn't control Bitcoin in any way. We also don't send, receive, or store any bitcoins. Bitcoin.com only provides links to sources that will help you open bitcoin wallets or buy bitcoins from other companies. Bitcoin.com has nothing to do with Bitcoin transactions; it exists for informational purposes only.

PS, please feel free to download and try the Bitcoin.com Wallet for free. I think you will find it a much nicer wallet to use than BitPay, with a fantastic support team to help you anytime and lots of new features being added all the time.
It is available on all platforms, you can download it from here: https://wallet.bitcoin.com/
