This seems like a really good reason for people to demand that government budgets be put onto the blockchain so people can see exactly how government funds are being spent. Hopefully this would lead to a lot less waste like that app above.

Holy shit, what a colossal waste of money. To make matters worse they have to pay a human to stand there and tap the screen. This is just a giant waste of money on various levels. It's quite shocking how stupid people in power can be.

Look up the Miki transport ticketing system that has been nothing but a financial disaster for us, 5 years in, $1.5 Billion dollars later and we still don't have a working ticketing system.
