Send funds from bitcoin.com wallet to my other wallet

Hi everybody im new to this
But yesterday i send some funds from my bitcoin.com wallet to my edge wallet
But my funds never got to my edge wallet
When i open my wallet on bitcoin.com and press on the blockchain it says confirmed but when i check my edge wallet there’s nothing there
Can someone olease help me

Hi Sharriff,

I'm not familiar with the Edge wallet. You may need to contact their support team. I believe that you can start here (if this is the same Edge that you are referring to): https://support.edgesecure.co/support/home

Also, did you send BCH or BTC? And did you send to a BCH address or a BTC address?

Did you send the BCH to your BCH address or did you send it to a BTC address?

In any event, please let support at Edge know exactly what has happened.

If you happen to find that there is some other issues regarding your Edge wallet and Bitcoin Cash transactions, please let us know.

Based on what you've stated in the above quote, the problem appears to be that you've sent Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to a Bitcoin Core (BTC) address.

More specifically, you've sent Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to a Bitcoin Cash (BCH) which is identical to your Bitcoin Core (BTC) address.

Do you have control of your private keys in the Edge wallet? I'm not familiar with the Edge wallet, but after looking over their site: https://edgesecure.co/ it appears that you might have control of your private keys.

If so, you could import the private key for the Bitcoin Core (BTC) address into a your Bitcoin Cash (BCH) wallet. The keys are the same on both chains.

In any event, I recommend that you find out more from support at Edge (because I've never used the wallet, and not at all familiar with how it functions).

Please also keep in mind that if your Bitcoin Core (BTC) address is a Segwit address it could further complicate the process.

I think i see the problem its what you said
I think i send the funds to my btc wallet instead of my bch wallet and yes i have my private keys
So now only thing to do is wait for a reply from edge

I was looking at the Edge wallet. It looks like there's a function which they call 'Split BItcoin Cash' that can be used to create a Bitcoin Cash (BCH) wallet from an existing Bitcoin Core (BTC) wallet. However, it looks like it wont work for Segwit addresses (I don't know whether or not your's is Segwit):

Yes it worked with the provided link but there was a 10% fee but it worked i got my bitcoin cash back
