Rubies community,

We are looking into some of the possibilities the community has mentioned, there are still many things in development and more businesses about to add Rubies. The second half of this month will get quite busy for Rubies holders. Trade-Mining at C-Cex will end this month as well on April 30th, we want to thank C-Cex admins for their participation, and hope to have a strong relationship with all exchanges as Rubies continues to grow and evolve as a business backed currency. Another sports event held by our moderators will be launched soon so look for that in the near future as well.

Our developers for BetterBets.io were being very cautious of what they thought was a potential exploit on Rubies betting. The issue was actually less scary and was a minor coding error that led to some players receiving more Rubies than was planned from initial distribution. After going over logs it seems only a few people were affected and gained 1200 more Rubies than was intended. None of these users withdrew them however, and the issue was corrected. Playing with RBIES will resume after BetterBetsdev has applied a few patches to improve overall experience within 48 hours.

Just a reminder, the option to be a Rubies stakeholder ends on April 30th, if you are interested please read the OP and plan accordingly. If any of the 4 unsold spots remain the income from these will remain with our team.

Some updates:

Currently, Rubies is still in a heavy distribution phase during this time we will continue to run large contests for everyone to properly distribute coins.

Right now your options for obtaining Rubies are:

1. Trade-Mining at C-Cex earning 60 Rubies per 1 [btc] of trade volume.  (ends April 30th)

2. Contests and tournaments held by the current Rubies supporting business like Bubblesbit.com, Jackpotracer, Betterbets

3. Buying off any of the three exchanges Livecoin, C-Cex, and Yobit

4. Bet-mining as explained on the OP

5. peer to peer trades/purchases.

(Completed distributions methods are Twitter campaign, initial launch distribution, and numerous business promotions)

I am looking into a new type of distribution that would include miners, any feedback on desired algo's would be appreciated as well.

Future plans:


As I have mentioned in the past, many of our stakeholders are also established business owners. The primary focus is on integration and adoption of Rubies by these and future businesses.
Something that is extremely important for long-term health of any currency, digital or not, is use; and Rubies has it. We have already achieved this in the first 2 months of launch, however now we will be pushing towards mass business adoption and it's not an 'IF' this is a fact. Most businesses prepping for launch are nearing final testing and should be ready to experience within a month or two.

I hope those who choose to read my wall of text understand that we are not just building this coin for the sake of it, it's to give you all an option to use/trade/stake vs. Bitcoin and one that is accepted by most of the sites we use daily.

Here is an update to draw attention to coins in circulation, now that all spots have been filled 3 million Rubies are now with stakeholders.

Current distribution:

Total Rubies currently in existence: 10,040,632

Cold storage: 4,312,193

Stakeholders own: 3,000,000

Total Rubies in public circulation: 2,728,439

Stakeholders can trade their coins throughout the month, however must recover all coins per spot owned to receive monthly dividends. If they fail to have the coins back each 1st of the month this means they forfeit the ability to renew their contract for another year as stated in the stakeholder agreement. This creates many unique trading opportunities over the months to come.

Rubies users and investors: We are creating a new investment token on an established platform for 2.0 blockchain technology. Rubies will be one payment option available to invest in this Project. You do not have to and can keep using Rubies as is, we would never force anyone, however all future work and development will go into the new token. When the time comes for launch of the new token my team will leave the thread link and appropriate info for investors to look it over and see if it's something they wish to move to. Again, Rubies will be allowed to be used to convert to the new 2.0 token (2 Rubies per token conversion rate) but, it's not mandatory.

Stakeholders: the conversion will be mandatory unless you no longer wish to participate in the dividends distribution program. (currently stakeholders have received over 92 [btc] from their initial investment since March)

All Rubies collected from the conversion will be sent to the pre-determined Rubies burn address, they will never return to the market or exchanges. More details will come as the time draws nearer.
