We are fighting to decentralize everything but Bitcoin.com is doing a great job to "centralize" the real information about Bitcoin and I really appreciate this. We need a place where we can find anything is real, trusted/verified/legit
, good and well presented. New comers really need a place like this.Few days ago I presented to some friends Bitcoin.com to start their "journey" into this amazing revolution. And some of them asked me later where they can find the info about places to spend BTC. I've told them that coinmap.org is doing great job too and also the mobile app BitcoinMap or Airbitz Directory.
But that crossed my mind that will be great to have this info also integrated into Bitcoin.com, even if will be a plugin or frame or link or something else, but people can find it in the same place. We can even do it better, verifying those places and updated with more info and experiences from users that tested them.
I know are many many other pages with this kind of information but maybe we can take from each something they have it good and put it together and make it a better solution. Is very important to have verified/trusted information. On coinmap.org I saw places that even doesn't exist anymore and that hurts Bitcoin first. Some are fake or doesn't want to use BTC because vary reasons.
Like we have Wiki page maybe we can have Spend BTC page with all good info, a kind of Yelp BTC, strictly about bitcoin payments experiences.
WE HAVE TO KEEP THOSE BTC SHOPS ALIVE!
Another suggestion is to make a page also for famous Bitcoin quotes. I know many will be from Roger and Andreas, but also there are many others out there with wonderful words about Bitcoin. Or at least a top banner on all Bitcoin.com pages that slides all of the verified quotes. We have to transmit these "messages" to the entire world and sometimes great quotes are lost in the abundance of internet pages.
