hi I sent some coin from tether to bitcoin , which has not shown in my bitcoin acc??i have all the proof of it leaving my account and to which address it has gone to . where do i go to recover the coin?

Are you using a Bitcoin.com wallet?

The Bitcoin.com wallet supports both Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin (BTC). If you sent either of those and it's not showing up in your wallet please the BItcoin.com wallet FAQ: https://walletsupport.bitcoin.com

If the foregoing doesn't resolve the issue, and your using a Bitcoin.com wallet, please contact support at wallet@bitcoin.com

If you're using some other wallet you'll have to contact their support team or at least provide more details (e.g., what wallet?) regarding your situation here in this thread and then maybe someone reading can offer you advice.

hey I had money in Tether on Binance and I then withdrew some money out of Tether thru Binance and sent to the bitcoin address. the money has come out of tether and been processed thru the blockchain. Binance have found the transaction and have now said I need to contact the recipient for the funds. this was all done on Binance.
Instead of buying bitcoin with my Tether I withdrew funds from tether and sent to bitcoin address... I did it wrong, I've never had money in Tether before.
Id really appreciate some help ... Thank you

You sent some tether to an address that is the same as your address for receiving bitcoin, correct?

If so, what is the address that you sent to? Please look up that address here: https://www.omniexplorer.info/

If you really do see a tether balance at that address (and that address is the same as your bitcoin address) then you should be able to use your bitcoin private key to recover your tether. You'll have to import the key into a wallet which supports tether.

If that's also your btc address at Binance (as you indicated that it is) you'll have to contact their support team again an explain to them that this address is your binance btc address.

They are the only ones in a position to help you. It's up to them, they may or may not decide to help you.

yes I have now sent them the actual record of the deposit they made into my bitcoin account which was a tiny amount which is telling me they stuffed up at their end, otherwise, I wouldn't have had any deposits at all made into my btc wallet as such. I am waiting for a response from them
