Sun Feb 07, 2016 12:52 am

Im going there for few days.

Would like to know best spots to see and especially eat at!

Not some usual tourist mumbo jumbo but some really decent things.

All BTC stuff welcome too!

I wish that I could help with recommendations and suggestions but unfortunately I haven't lived to Portugal. However, I do travel and have lived outside of the United States for extended periods of time (i.e., years).

I just wanted to say that after seeing this thread that you've started I really realized just how cool this forum is!

I hope that someone else reading here may have lived in Portugal (or perhaps still lives there) and can provide you with some helpful tips.

I hope that I can add something (or many things) useful to this forum and I will offer my help on all threads if I have knowledge related to the subject matter.

I've never been to Lisbon but my father spent a month there two summers ago and loved it so much has gone back twice and thinking of retiring there in a few years. Get there and ask the locals where they suggest you check-out, I'm sure they'd be more than willing to help someone out who isn't the run-of-the-mill tourist and actually interested in their land and culture.
