I am so STOKED about blockchain. Should I use a consulting company?

Or just learn about how to hardcode all this stuff on my own? I know deep down this emerging technology is going to allow humanity to reach heights never seen before and I want to write my own blockchain because I have great ideas and they need to be implemented for the betterment of human life as a hole in general.

I started reading about this technology in December and even bought a couple of bit coins by taking out equity on my house. As most of you know, it has gone down a great deal since, but I still am HODLing!!

Everyday each article I read about bit coins and blockchain technology gets me more and more convinced that this is the future. The future is here folks!! We are in a new age. Everyday I come up with new ideas about problems to solve in order to help out the entire world. So my question to you all is... Should I take the time to learn how to hardcode my own blockchain or should I just go to a blockchain consulting firm? I have zero programming background but A TON of energy and ambition.

Meeting with a consulting firm will most likely be a more productive use of your time in the long-run. Your enthusiasm is undeniable! However, without any programming background this might might be too steep a hill to climb. Not to mention, programming is only part of it, there is also a significant amount of mathematics involved. Overall, as the post above said, it's not a newbie-level project to tackle. Get your ideas out on paper and a solid business plan set up and meet with some experts.
