TheMerkle - Bitcoin A Viable Option For Arcade City NYE Responsible Drivers Program

Thu Dec 31, 2015 9:42 am

Bitcoin and other digital currencies have the potential to play a major role in the concept of creating a sharing economy. Companies like Uber have set an interesting precedent for creating a new type of worker who can do their job based on an on-demand schedule. With New Year’s Eve almost upon us, on-demand drivers would be of great value to society, considering how many people will get intoxicated over the next 36 hours. But not everyone sees it that way, especially not where Arcade City is concerned.

Re: TheMerkle - Bitcoin A Viable Option For Arcade City NYE Responsible Drivers Program

I just discovered Arcade City today.

They appear to be very similar to Uber and Lyft.

My question: How is Arcade City different from other rideshare businesses (e.g., Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, Flywheel, Curb, Hailo, RubyRide, Summon, Shuddle)?

My best answer: Foremost difference is that Arcade City has created and is developing a decentralized rideshare system / service.

Their website is Arcade.city

The founder's name is Christopher David.

It appears that they accept payments with Stripe. You can add Bitcoin to your payments with Stripe. In simple, you can pay with Bitcoins.

Btw, I am NOT affiliated with their service in any way.
