RChain is a new blockchain platform founded by Greg Meredith which rivals Ethereum and Bitcoin. Its main goal is to provide content delivery at the scale of Facebook and process transactions at the speed of Visa. The current average speed for blockchain is 3.5-4 transactions per second while Visa’s transactions stand at 3,000 per second. Rchain solves one of the major problems associated with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin; slow transactions.
Rchain will work with both private and public blockchains to introduce a new degree of compatibility making blockchains co-ordinate in approval of smart contracts. This will enable ICO cryptocurrencies to be traded with company-specific cryptocurrencies within the Rchain network.
