It's not exactly hidden. It is exactly for mining in the background. That is what it advertises.
You join the community over here and just install the Chrome addon. Of course it takes a while to mine anything and the company who created it makes the most money, but in comparison to not getting anything at all, why not?
When I don't use my PC actively I just have it running in the background.
OP didn't exactly make it look scam free by posting it like a bot/spammer would. But yes, it's legit and works. Not as well as multiple mining stations, but hey.
