How to direct my payment to Circle from Coinbase?

I go to use my Bitcoin which is stored in Circle but when I selet the site I want to use it for which has a link on their Bitcoin page it sends me to Coinbase instead ! How do I correct this

The site you're trying to pay accepts Bitcoin through their Coinbase account. It doesn't matter where the Bitcoin comes from. So you go through the payment process until you get to where they give you a Bitcoin address to send Bitcoin to. You then go to your Circle app and scan the barcode they show you and it'll set it all up automatically. Or you set up a Send manually. Put that address from Coinbase in the "send" area of your Circle account. It'll probably automatically put in an amount as well. Then you approve it and send it.

Are you paying via your mobile device and it's auto-opening the Coinbase app instead of Circle? Is that the issue? If so, I don't think you can do anything about it that I'm aware of.

If you go to settings in android (different depending on which version you use) you will find somewhere in app settings a setting to erase program defaults / app defaults / a similar name and then you will be asked again next time you open a bitcoin address I think
