Maybe bitcoin classic is not so bad. It is a temporary measure for sure, but it will show that a block size increase hard fork does not need to be feared. Unfortunately I suspect that a one time jump to the optimal solution is currently a bridge too far. I hope that a first step in the right direction will lead to the optimal solution in one or more extra steps I'm the right direction.

With some luck, the limit will be waved completely as Satoshi intended!
