Watch what sort of articles they start to produce regarding topics like the blockchain debate and it will give you an idea of who has acquired this site.

Just trying to think of the biggest Bitcoin media outlet in the space, and it's probably Coindesk. So maybe they did an acquisition to help spread their wings in 2016? If not Coindesk, it could be a non-Bitcoin media company trying to get into Bitcoin, for example TechCrunch (Aol)?
