Tutorials: DIY How To Use Bitcoin On Your Website

This guide was created in order to get people started with building their own bitcoin related websites.

Since I began working with bitcoin related websites mid last year I ran into lots of hurdles and I have compiled what I have learned into some step by step videos and written tutorials.

I know I'm not the greatest coder and there are probably better ways to do the things I demonstrate, but I only created these because they don't exist already and I wish they did when I was getting started. If you think I missed something crucial I advise you to create something better because it's something that the community could really use.

I had lots of questions with nowhere to turn to when I first started building bitcoin websites. I was surprised how few instructions and tutorials there were in this space, which is why I created this series. I'm just a hobbyist developer but someone has to get things started, right?

This forum really need members like yourself who when they run into a problem they actually look for an answer and then proceed to help others by creating a tutorial so others don't have to go through all the same research you would of had to do when looking for your answers.

Good work, but more effort and more complicated for a merchant who just wants to get his products out there for sale using bitcoin with minimum effort.

The easy way is to buy a domain and put up a WordPress website using the free WooCommerce plugin. It is simple to populate your store with products. You will want to use a PayPal or credit card plugin, but the real gem is the free CoinSimple app which lets you accept bitcoin directly to your wallet.

There are plenty of tutorials explaining how to get a WordPress ecommerce website setup. A weekend should do it even for a first timer.
