Insufficient funds

Tue Jan 30, 2018 8:59 pm

I can transfer funds between my wallets but I can't send them out, no matter how low a number I put in. I've tried "send max amount" because I assumed that would take into account the transaction fees, and it works between wallets, but it doesn't let me send out. Any thoughts?

Also, when I look at my balace on my personal wallet it shows .038 btcs, worth somewhere around $350. Now ignoring the fact that it always give me the insufficient funds issue, when I put in .038 btcs it says dollar value $56? Why would that be? I'm sure .038 is around $350.

Thanks for the help

Hi Owlshour,

Are you using a Bitcoin.com wallet?

If so, are you sure that you're attempting to send from your BTC wallet (and not your BCH wallet)?

Yep bitcoin.com wallet. I’m pretty sure I was sending back and forth between the personal wallet btc it comes with and one I made.

WHen you click send does it automatically go to the btcor the bch wallet? I don‘t see where you would differentiate beteen the two.

Hi Owlshour,

If it shows BCH then just tap it until it changes to BTC, enter the amount you want to send and tap on [-->] to proceed to the send screen.

If this doesn't work please let us know.

These are the four Send options within the Bitcoin.com wallet:
Image By tapping on the BTC or BCH or USD (shown within the orange ovals in the above picture) you may change between the sending options.

BTC = USD - you enter amount of BTC

BCH = USD - you enter amount of BCH

USD = BTC - you enter USD amount of BTC

USD = BCH - you enter USD amount of BCH
