Mining in the West, unlike Russia and the CIS countries, is already sufficiently developed, it`s too late to study it as a phenomenon. In Russia it is only growing, people are increasingly showing interest in cryptocurrency and ICO projects. It`s quite remarkable that in Russia, as in Europe, the Bulgarian MiningNow project (https://miningnow.online/) is in demand. That's why I came to Russia to find out how mining`s developing in the country. The past conference in Kazan was a real revelation for me. A lot of people visited it and all of them showed a keen interest in the project. In particular, many of the potential participants were worried thinking that MNW worked only with large investors, especially after it started cooperating with RUSAL. MNW`s organizers assured that they`re ready to cooperate with all investors who want to invest in the project. For many, it was good news, some were surprised in a good way that anyone could invest. Now after my stay in Russia for a long time, I can say that mining in the country is rapidly catching up with its western neighbors.

OO Ilim-Invest, Moscow, reports about the feasibility of implementing an investment project in the Irkutsk region on mining on the basis of the property complex of the Ust-Ilimsk Mechanical Plant.

For the purposes of the project in Ust-Ilimsk, a production site was chosen and purchased on the basis of a former mechanical plant with an area of ​​19 hectares. The total area of ​​buildings and structures is 38 thousand m2.

The chosen site has a number of competitive advantages: the hull, decommissioned mechanical plant, on the basis of the expertise carried out and the selected design decisions, are considered suitable in case of their use. The engineering networks required for the project also exist, although they require adaptation to the equipment. Railroad dead end is directly in the workshop . The Ust-Ilimsk-Bratsk road is in the immediate vicinity of the site, automobile access roads are also exist.

The city thermal power station is situated in the immediate vicinity of the production site. Electricity in the Irkutsk region is the cheapest in Russia, which provides a significant competitive advantage. Under the project, technical conditions have been obtained to increase the electrical capacity to 12 MW. If necessary, it is possible to increase the electrical power to 30 MW.
