Give Bitcoin t-shirts to the homeless, promote bitcoin and help people at the same time

In the town I currently live in, there are homeless people everywhere. It makes me sad to see them out in the cold, especially recently with the rain and wind. It got me thinking that some people in this circumstance would benefit greatly from a bitcoin themed jacket / shirt or whatever kind of clothing you can think of.

I'm not saying we should turn homeless people into billboards, but I think that a lot of people would see the bitcoin logo if people on the street were displaying it proudly. Imagine the effect it would have on a person to see multiple people touting the same symbol, maybe it will push them to learn what this bitcoin thing really is.

If anyone else here thinks it is a good idea, we could setup a donation wallet and get some clothes for people or something

Good to see you want to help though.
Even a lot of homless have phones so teach them a quick need to know course on wallets, give them a QR sign and also set up a net fund where donations could go to all with a wallet.
Probably easier said then done.

yeah that is probably the same i would think. helping is good but connection the homeless with bitcoin is not the best marketing strategy

i would be better if we collect some BTC from all members here and one day you take 2-3 homeless people to a restaurant and give them some food. you could make some pictures too

yeah that is probably the same i would think. helping is good but connection the homeless with bitcoin is not the best marketing strategy
