1) "What site or exchange did you use to transfer BTC to BCH?
2) Did you transfer BCH from your Jaxx wallet to your Bitcoin.com wallet, correct?
3) Can you post the transaction ID or Bitcoin.com BCH wallet address that you sent these funds to?"
Hi, I hope someone can help...
This was my fist attempt to transfer $ from one place to another and therefore low $ to test the system. I'm happy I didn't try a bigger transaction...
I have 3 cloned Jaxx wallets: Mac OS, IOS and Android. All agree the $ was sent from my BTC to my BCH wallets within Jaxx. All agree that the (supposed receiving) BCH wallet has "no transactions".
--1) I don't know what exchange, I guess it was the default for Jaxx. Jaxx suggested that Shapeshift was involved but Shapeshift said they didn't create the destination, and weren't involved.
--2) No. I would like to, but I don't know how, or even if it is possible.

I want to get into crypto, but so far It has been a miserable experience. Purchasing from an ATM went badly and it took days to find the problem (and my $) with the Jaxx wallet software (no help from Jaxx). Then a month ago Jaxx says they transferred $ from one wallet to another (plus the fee they kept) and it never showed up.
I need to decide if crypto transactions can be trusted in general. Obviously Jaxx can't be trusted (to even respond).
Did I screw up somehow?
Did Jaxx intentionally steal my $?
Are they just incompetent and unresponsive?
Is the $ recoverable?
Is a bitcoin.com wallet any safer?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this learning experience. (the $ is not the real issue)
