I had this same error yesterday on my own wallet, it was there for most of the day but has gone now and i am able to use BTC again.
This was most likely a problem on our back end that has been fixed now.

I'm definitely still having this issue. My BCH wallet is fine, but BTC is still getting "insight error"

I continue to have this same error. It started this morning for me. Seems to be isolated to Android wallet install. I'm not freaking out as I can see the wallet balances on my desktop install, however would like to know an ETA for fix as I am not always near my laptop. 4 BTC Wallets and 1 BCH Wallet.

The problem is back for me too.

I have advised the wallet developers of this and will post an answer as soon as i get a response.

I have the same "INSIGHT ERROR" in Belgium and i bought 300 euro worth of bitcoin! I have enough of this fuc... bulshit wit the astronomical fees and it's not even PEER TO PEER like they lie ,they LIE it s free but i paid for 300 euro 25 euros fees and i wait 8 hours to be on my wallet! I sent by mistake 100 euro to my wallet(IT SHOUD NOT EVEN SUPOUSE TO WORK GHIS) AND I SETT SUPER ECOBOMY FEE ,I PAID 3,30 EURO FEE AND 48 HOURS AND STILL PENDING! YOU CAN NOT SPEND IT ALMOUST ANYWHERE ,CASH WITRAW ALL IT'S LIKE YOU DO A VERY DIFICULT MATEMATICAL ECUATION AND ASTRONOMIC FEE AGAIN AND NOW I CAN'T USE AT ALL,I INSTAL THE APP AGAIN AND I HAVE INSIGHT ERROR! Finally it's working now, the Insight error has gone and all my transactions and balances are back.
I was worried indeed.

Yes i have noticed this error come and go myself, this is not one i have seen before so cannot offer any advise until the wallet development team has had a look into the problem and gets back to us.

Please note that as long as you have your backup phrase written down all your BTC funds are safe, unfortunately they just cannot be sent from the wallet until the issue is resolved.

It's just terrible that a big resource what bitcoin.com pretends to be is totally ignoring a fatal error in its wallet for along 2 days.

A good reason to later withdraw all the funds and never use that wallet again.

many terrible news on going in entire crypto world, so many issues regarding with disadvantages of technology..

Sorry for the late reply, support has been very busy and a little short staffed during the holiday period.

An issue like this is considered a "critical error" and will be fixed by the developers as soon as they can

We are not ignoring this error at all, we have almost 1.5 million wallets downloaded by customers and as much as we would like to we just cannot physically answer everyone separately and on-time.

Our wallet has had a few errors over time just like every bitcoin wallet experiences available, to the credit of the developers almost every error has always been fixed within 24 hours.
This is not an error our wallet has had before and the developers are working hard on fixing this as soon as possible.

Ofc, BitPay is a main wallet.
Bitcoin core is just a fork of copay wallet and copay is owned by BitPay.
