Nice. Quite interesting. I also heard last week that some people were looking for very large amounts of bitcoin if anybody wanted to unload them. . . One of my clients of an investment firm was telling me earlier today that they are converting $32M USD into Bitcoin, although not all at once.

Yes it definitely seems so.It does appear to have been quite a big and sustained "blip" (nice technical term, don't you agree?). I took these screenshots yesterday evening from bitcoinity.org.

It looks like a cleanly executed large trade, possibly between parties that agreed to make the trade on coinbase. There was a lot of volume, but not a lot of volatility and that is quite extraordinary. I wonder why no OTC trade was done, but perhaps the purchaser had to use a registered and licensed exchange to make the trade?
