BCH in Bitcoin Wallet Need Help (New Thread)

Dear sirs,

I've read another thread that tries to explain this but it is older, confusing and maybe this thread will clean up the confusion. I can see my BCH in another Bitcoin.com Bitcoin Wallet. I see it clearly in the blockchain and in the wallet, however it is clearly in the wrong wallet. I'm Almost Positive that I copied and was very careful to copy the right wallet on transfer, but it seems that it pasted the wrong wallet. (99.99%) sure that is exactly what happened. Anyway, I'm not trying to access blame, I just want a clean response for myself and others to transfer my BCH from a BTC wallet on Bitcoin.com to my BCH wallet on Bitcoin.com (Please Help)

First of all i will say that you should never send BTC to a BCH address and vise versa. If thisnis what you have done please follow the instructions on our support page: https://walletsupport.bitcoin.com/

If you believe that the address you copy and pasted was changed then you should run a complete virus scan on your device.
There is a known virus that can do exactly that.

I didn't send bitcoin to a BCH wallet. I used one of your recommended exchanges to do this and switch BTC to BCH. I do believe my phone is very protected, however in today's world who can know what lurks on your phone. I did escalate this upto tech support on wallet@bitcoin.com with all details. Thank your for quick response.
