I am 95% sure that it's front-end works. Everything mines, and new blocks from Bitcoin.com are in the blockchain
I second this as shown by the tcpdumps above which shown stratum is sending/receiving my share and sending my miner confirmations, if you look in your S9 miner backends you will see shares are being accepted by the pool.bitcoin.com stratum.

All logic and sense points to that it is a db front-end issue with the site. At least as far as I can see

Best,
Adam

Id hate to be waste my mining hash rate (plus all the wasted energy) on bitcoin.com then find out they aren't going to pay because the website said my miners were off-line.... the CEO seem kinda shady, so I dont really trust them that much at the moment....

I tcpdumped too, but that didn't mean we're getting credit for the hashing.

Why are any of you with actual mining hardware (instead of cloud mining contracts) actually using the pool anymore? Haven't you read my posts on page 39?

This pool does not pay BTC fees fairly at all, fees have never gone below 15% of the block reward for more than a few hours since December 7th, and most of the time were in the 20% range and now consistently above 35%.

They are paying a 10% bonus block reward while the fee % of the BTC block reward is over 35%, see here: https://fork.lol/reward/feepct

ViaBTC is currently paying 25%+ more overall for the same hashrate.

I personally like the auto-profit feature. With ViaBTC you have to manually switch which coin (BTC/BCH) you're actively mining. At least that's what I've seen.

The auto-switching here is not always correct, because of internal profit calculations. post118742.html#p118742 Here is a sample. So in the longrun, if you believe auto-switching - you will earn less here.
I have tried auto-switching for a couple of weeks, but then I have decided to do it manually, and to mine BTC, for example, even if bitcoin.com shows that bch is profitable. I don't like their hidden calculation principle.

Only it's not a true "auto-profit" since this pool doesn't pay MOST of the BTC fees. ViaBTC has auto switch too you have to use this stratum:

stratum+tcp://smart.viabtc.com:3333

Buyer pay attention,

I purchased a cloud mining coontract on Dec 4th. I sent a wire transfer to the details provided on line.
Subsequently my contract was listed as cancelled.
Shaun claimed it was not cancelled and it would be activated shortly
Time went by
My bank advised me that the destination bank had accepted the wire
I inquired with Shaun again and he said that they had changed the company name and possibly my wire had been refused.
My wire trace showed the destination bank had not returned the wire.

Shaun and Natalia (CFO) are apparently looking into it.

I have not received my mining contract or my refund

Guys :x

Stop mining BTC. You're just pissing into the wind. The pool hasn't mined any BTC blocks for 7 days now. You will get zero income. 0.00000000. Nada. Zip.

Image

Currently there is 36.57 PH/s still mining BTC.

Image

The BTC network hash rate is approximately 12.8 Exahashes per second (see: https://fork.lol/pow/hashrate). 36.57 PH/s is a drop in the bucket (0.3%). Stop wasting your time. It's completely unprofitable. Think of the fees you have to pay just to move it as well of $30 per transaction or more (see: https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#24h).

Turn off auto-profit switching as well. With Bitcoin Cash's fast Difficulty Adjustment Algorithm, the short term profits are not worth it. If you really, really want High Fee Coin (BTC) or other altcoins then mine Bitcoin Cash 100% of the time and exchange it on an exchange (or shapeshift.io for less hassle). The fees for Bitcoin Cash are less than a cent so it's much cheaper to move around.

Really, the maths is pretty simple. Do you want the pool to mine 10-20 blocks a day on Bitcoin Cash and everyone wins. Or do you want to piss around wasting what little hash power we have on the SegWit chain and maybe if you're lucky mine 1 block a week on it. It only makes economic sense if we all mine Bitcoin Cash together. When mining on Bitcoin Cash we get a bigger piece of the pie (and more chance to mine more blocks):

Just started mining BCH opposed to BCT on Pool.Bitcoin. Anyone else sending daily withdraws to Coinbase that are not showing up? I mean not showing up at all, not pending. Two days in a row this has happened.

Thanks,

Kyle

I think it is a Coinbase issue, because I receive daily autowithdrawals on different wallets and exchange as well - everything works perfectly.

Still no move about our share of BTC mining fees…

But don't worry, team is doing well and they just have increased again the price of their contracts :

- 749$ for 1 year (+15%, 51mBTC)
- 999$ for lifetime (+11%, 68mBTC)

Happy new year

Underpaying BTC mining fees, underpaying BCH @ 98% block reward(why again? seems unfair to BCH miners), ridiculous contract prices, and no lifetime plans for months, no more pre-orders. What is going on? A little more transparency would be great as I'm sure you guys can understand. A lot of us have invested a lot of money with you guys and I think we deserve to know why prices are increasing so heavily and when we can expect proper block reward payouts(if ever?) I have no plans to mine BTC ever again but I think honesty, openness, and transparency is incredibly important in keeping us miners around. Is it simply a complete lack of Antminer S9 supply from Bitmain? I don't fully understand.

I'm not an upset by any means, simply concerned about future investments.

I think you are right as I am having the same issues. I followed the hash and I have no idea where the coins are ending up, but the wallet is large. If anyone can provide some light, please do so. Coinbase support through email is crap.

It depends where to buy. I know the market with lifetime Th/s at 45% less price, than here, today is about 550USD per 1 Th.
Bitcoin.com is much overpriced now, especially with 1 year contract, but newcomers continue to come on well-known web name.

Sorry, I've been too busy to read this forum thread. I'll try to be as transparent as possible. If there's something that needs my immediate attention, please email pool@bitcoin.com

Anyway, I'll try to address your concerns

> Underpaying BTC mining fees.
I just increased BTC block reward to 120%. This is more in line with what ViaBTC is paying now. I'm working on a system to automatically adjust the block reward like ViaBTC so I don't have to keep manually changing it.

> underpaying BCH @ 98% block reward
That's not underpaying. We are the highest paying BCH pool in the world. ViaBTC and BTC.com pay about 96% BCH block reward.

> ridiculous contract prices
Our contract prices depend on supply and demand. We increase the prices so that we don't go out of stock too fast. Our contracts have very limited supply and extremely high demand.

Antminer S9s are out of stock everywhere so we're finding it hard to get more stock.
