Amount too low to spend???

I purchased $120 worth of bitcoin on Dec 24th and received 0.008375 worth of bitcoin.
However, there was also a note next to the transaction saying “amount too low to spend” and a link at the side to “Learn More”
I clicked on said link and received the following message:

“This transaction amount is too small compared to current bitcoin network fees.
Spending these funds will need a bitcoin network fee cost comparable to the funds itself”.

I have recently tried to transfer my bitcoin to another wallet, however when doing so I tried to transfer 0.015506 which was worth approx £175 at the time, however when I typed in the amount of bitcoin to send, it showed that all that would be sent across would be

Just to finish off the post....

It showed only £28.55 would be sent across??

Bearing in mind, my balance was currently showing a value of roughly £165.00??

So does this mean that pretty much all of my bitcoin is useless? will be used to cover fees?

I don’t understand?

Somebody please answer our questions.
Me too, I have deposited 450$ and got .023 bitcoins.
When I tried to send that 0.023 bitcoins to another wallet, the estimate amount is showed as 75$
Is it mean the transaction charge me 375$ and only 75$ will be transferred to that another wallet?
Please explain me, otherwise, I have wasted 450$ on this wallet.

Sorry.. it's my bad. I need to change the transaction option from bch to btc. that's why the amount are wrong.

i had same problem....

i just had to make sure i was sending BTC- which was where my BTC was not in BCH

know what i mean?>?>?

I had trouble too- but when you hit send by default it shows BCH you need be sure to switch/change that to BTC

Bitcoin is in a tough place right now because it had prior scaling issues and with the very large influx of users has created an enormous fee market. Combine that with at toxic political environment on both sides and you will run into the problems that you are having. The best advice I can say is just to wait it out for a number of months and hope things improve.
