Simplex and Bitcoin.com scammed us together!

Sat Dec 16, 2017 6:01 pm

I have been CHEATED BY SIMPLEX AND BITCOIN.COM together. As far as i see a lot of people are in same pickle with me. Approved orders, money deducted from account. No coins delivered. All providers play the dead: simplex and bitcoin.com.

If these two companies not scammers but honest companies:

REFUND! REFUND! REFUND!

This is my payment ID: e0696c46-b097-443c-93b0-eb097c45cd1e

This service is provided by our partners Simplex.com which is hosted on Bitcoin.com.

If supplier company cannot supply the coins just cancel the order and refund the money as it is done when the order is not confirmed. Very easy. But in this case, they deduct the money from our accounts and do not give it back.

bitcoin.com, especially this is a horrible case to be linked to. I will do my best to spready my word to all internet channels that simplex and bitcoin.com scam people together.

STAND FOR YOUR CUSTOMER AND MAKE SIMPLEX PAY US BACK!

Guys who were scammed like me by these two companies, please write to this topic and lets spread the word.

I am feeling exactly the same. The fact that there isn’t a customer service number for bitcoin.com at all and only this forum makes me feel I’ve been swindled. I have so far been able to verify that Simplex made the transaction because you can search the Blockchain for that but have yet to see anything in my wallet.

Hi Jason,

To see your BTC wallet address history please follow the steps below:

1) Go to Settings > [Select your BTC wallet]

2) Tap on "More Options"

3) Select "Wallet Addresses"

4) Tap on "View All Addresses"

You will now be able to see all of the BTC wallet addresses associated with your wallet below. The addresses with an amount in green shows the amount that is available to spend in that particular address.

If you cannot see the address you gave Simplex then please repeat the above steps replacing BTC with BCH and look at your Bitcoin Cash (BCH) address history. If you have given them a BCH address you will need to go through the steps to recover the BTC from your BCH address.

If you have provided Simplex with a BCH address from your Bitcoin.com wallet then please follow the instruction on the following link to recover your BTC: https://walletsupport.bitcoin.com/artic ... bch-wallet

Unfortunately, I believe what you are saying is probable. When a consumer/investor comes to this site to find out how to order, it says "Usually payments are processed within the hour, some cases require more attention and can take up to 24 hours to be approved." This is deception by omission. It should include that when there is a large demand receiving the order can take DAYS.

I know the moderator is trying to help but he/she keeps assuming someone used a bitcoin cash address.

Also, a thread should be started where purchasers put there actual order receipt time. They can put in the discussion how long it REALLY took to get their order.

Every person who does their due diligence can search this forum and make an informed decision.

Hello,

I am sorry to hear that users are experiencing long wait times with Simplex orders again, when the price goes up and bitcoin is all over the news as it has been lately Simplex get so many orders that they just can't keep up with all the demand coming in and a backlog is created. I know the longer than usual wait times area annoying but Simplex will either send you the BTC you have ordered or issue a refund.

Please note that Simplex does not only deal with Bitcoin.com users and we are in no way connected to their business other than to offer them as a place where users can purchase bitcoins. The Mycelium wallet also allows people to purchase BTC via the app with Simplex so they are not just receiving orders from Bitcoin.com wallet users.

The service on https://buy.bitcoin.com is provided by Simplex.com. If you have not received your bitcoins from them, or have any other issues regarding that service, please contact support@simplex.com.
If Simplex confirms to you that they have sent the funds to you but you cannot see them in your Bitcoin.com wallet please contact: wallet@bitcoin.com

Regards: bitkilo.
Please help Ross and his family during this hard time by donating to the https://freeross.org/ fund. Play at the best provably fair Bitcoin games site here: games.bitcoin.com Need a fantastic Bitcoin wallet Pick up some great Bitcoin.com swag here

Simplex will send another email asking you to confirm you received your order. Do not confirm yet! Open your wallet and the funds should automatically appear if they were received. In other words, your balance has increased. Make sure that the transaction is confirmed by:

Go to: blockchain.info
Enter in the search bar: the receiving wallet address you used.
You will see: details regarding the transaction.

If you haven't received the funds, see the global moderators post regarding high demand wait times.

Hope this helped.

Absolutely.

BITCOIN.com and SIMPLEX.com are hand in hand in looting their customers.

SIMPLEX.com is a fraud company. They will charge your credit card but your bitcoin will never be delivered.

Their support sucks and has only automated replies. They will keep asking you same questions no matter what you say to them.

Finally they will keep sending you emails asking if the matter has been resolved and this will go on for while.

After that they will stop responding at all. This is how these mother****rs are.

I have lost all hopes of getting my 325 USD back, but I request everyone to learn from my mistake.

Stay miles away from these 2 SCAM sites.

Thanks.

Head of customer care: one day Julia one day Sarah... yeah yeah. Just cancel the orders and refund the money if your company is illiquid. It is very easy.

Keep the topic up.

Hi,

even i was taken aback reading that. then I read a little carefully and found that -

Sarah - Head of Customer Relations at Simplex

Julia - Head of Customer Support at Simplex

well, I dont care much about their designation. I am just worried about my money.

Thanks.

Just an update guys. I have finally received my bitcoins after 5 days (number of emails, tweets etc). Can't say I am super happy about it, but relieved that my money did not get lost. Simplex appears to be delivering, but IMO they need to improve their communications by like a lot else they are not going to do well in the long run. Please remove that stupid automated reply that is there asking if the issue has been resolved. Hire some more support guys and make the service better.
