Simplex

Mon Dec 11, 2017 9:44 pm

I ordered BTC 5 hours ago. It's not showing up on blockchain.info. I've submitted two support tickets at Simplex, no response. They even sent the email asking me to confirm I've received it. What gives here?!? This was a large amount of money. The other transaction went through fine.

At first I thought maybe I had used my Bitcoin Cash wallet, and I was right. But... it had the same exact address as my Bitcoin Core wallet so the funds should still be there. I've followed the instructions regarding adding the 20 addresses and scanning them, but the money's just not there. I've searched blockchain.info, and they haven't sent the funds.

The following information below applies only to the Bitcoin.com Wallet

If your BTC (i.e., Bitcoin) is not showing up please:

- Go to Settings -> Your Wallet (BTC) -> More Options -> Transaction History -> Clear cache
This clears the cache and synchronizes your transaction history from the server.

**If the funds still do not appear you can try:**

- Go to Settings -> Your Wallet -> More Options -> Wallet Addresses -> Tap 'Unused Addresses' 20 times until you see the message "Empty addresses limit reached", then tap 'Scan addresses for funds'
- Below will appear all the unused and addresses with funds available associated with your BTC wallet.
- The funds should now also show up on your wallet homepage.

If your BCH (i.e., Bitcoin Cash) is not showing up please:

- Go to Settings -> Your Wallet (BCH) -> More Options -> Transaction History -> Clear cache

I did that. Simplex simply hasn't sent the BTC. If they had, I would be able to see it on blockchain.info!

Well, just trying to be helpful.

In that case:

The service on https://buy.bitcoin.com is provided by Simplex.com. If you have not received your bitcoins from them, or have any other issues regarding that service, please contact support@simplex.com.

Please note that during times of high traffic such as when there is a relatively large increase in Bitcoin's value your order with Simplex may take longer for them to fulfil. Unfortunately there is nothing that Bitcoin.com can do about this, so please be patient while Simplex process, fulfil and send your BTC order.

Hey Nandibear,

How would you like if someone took $3200 USD out of your bank account and didn't transfer the funds or respond to customer support tickets?

By reading comments of others, it looks to me like you all need to contact Simplex for us (your customers). My unanswered support tickets are 77894 & 77987). If those numbers are in consecutive order, they're getting about one support request per minute. I've reached out to Bitstamp a little while ago too, as it looks like they've agreed to help Simplex with customer service. I haven't received a response from them yet.

Just being honest, I'm going to leave a really bad review. Not just one. One on every place in all the intranets and webs; every Facebook photo, every Twitter comment, etc. Anywhere you can possible find your name, there I'll be. That goes for bitcoin.com and for simplex. Maybe after we all do that, you'll either help us with your "partner" or fire them. Then I'm going to do a fraud alert with my bank on them and get my money back from the bank.

Well my BTC was delivered 9 hours late. It was lumped together with 32 other BTC. Maybe they could tell people it might take all day instead of giving folks a heart attack.

That's great to hear that you got the bitcoins you purchased.

How long did it take from the time they debited your account to the time they sent the bitcoins?

9 hours. Yesterday I made a transaction for about $1000 and that one only took a few minutes. Needless to say, I've been pulling my hair out all day.

I did have my fair share of issues with simplex, first of my bank blocked 2 payments for fraud, after a few hours I finally got them to send a smaller amount, it took about 6 hours or more to get confirmation from simplex, then about 2 days for the coin to show up in my wallet, had to clear cache and all that , yes its nerve racking to say the least!!!

Glad you got your bitcoins. :)
