Error querying the blockchain

Hi, I'm trying to send some BCC to another address, but I keep getting the message 'Error querying the blockchain' It's been happening for the past 3 days. Will this get resolved or is it a problem on my end? There's a message at the top of my wallet that says I can download the new wallet, but I don't want to do that yet for fear I would lose my coins. Any suggestions?

Yes. But first make sure that you have the 12 word recovery phrase (just in case something goes wrong). Also it would be a good idea to have the backup file or File/Text (save this file to somewhere offline, e.g., thumb drive).

I have the 12 word recovery phrase and will back it up before downloading the new wallet. Thanks for the help!
