Libracoin ICO Review- Is it a Scam?

Thu Dec 07, 2017 10:48 pm

The Libracoin ICO is set to start on the 12th with 8 million coins going on sale.

What is Libracoin?

They're launching a new decentralized cryptocurrency that can be used to send anonymous payments or transfer funds. The main aspect of the platform that has investors talking however is their lending platform that will be offering a huge rate of interest of over 1% paid daily.
The platform uses sophisticated trading bots to trade the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency markets which allows them to pay such a high rate of interest.

The rise of cryptocurrency and ICOs

ICOs have grown quickly during this year with the total market cap now around $400 billion. Bitcoin is still the biggest with just over half the market and a coin price currently over $16,000.
However many new coins have recently gained popularity, many of which have been launched from an ICO (Initial Coin Offering). This involves the company distributing their coins to investors in return for them investing into it. Many investors have so far seen huge returns with many projects gaining value quickly when they're listed on exchanges.

Lending platforms

One of the best performing investments in cryptocurrency so far has been lending platforms. These platforms offer investors a high rate of interest in return for them lending funds. Many of these use trading bots to profit on the high volatility of the cryptocurrency markets.
Bitconnect was the first to launch with an ICO and they've since seen their coin price soar from just $0.5 to now over $350.
Recently there's been many other platforms launching which have mostly seen to gain value quickly once the token sales are finished.

Libracoin Lending Program

The lending program will go live once the token sale has been complete. They plan to offer 4 different options for investors depending on the amount they wish to lend, with the minimum being $100 up to over $100,000. The advantage of higher amounts is a slightly higher interest rate and return of your capital sooner.
Once you've begun lending you'll receive interest paid into your wallet every day.

ICO Details

There will be a total of 8 million coins available during the token sale, the initial price will be just $0.6 but this is set to increase as the token sale goes on with the price during the final phase being $1.
To invest into the ICO all you need to do is deposit Bitcoin on to the platform and wait for the sale to start.

Referral Program

As with a lot of big businesses Libracoin aims to attract new users by offering a referral program. They pay a high rate of 7% on your first level referrals with additional bonuses all the way down to level 4.

Conclusion

There's been a lot of lending platforms launch recently making it hard to choose which ones to invest in. So far this platform looks to be one of the best and with the profits of previous platforms being so high it looks to be a good calculated risk.
By combining the lending platform interest with the expected rise in value of the coins it should hopefully be possible to make large profits such as the ones made with Regalcoin and Hextra recently.
