Hello. I am new to buying bitcoin and I’m having trouble. I am a US citizen with a US bank account and debt card and I’m in Spain for 3 months for work and I would like to buy bitcoin ASAP. I got turned down from coinbase and Blockchain for unknown reasons. I’m suspecting that it is because I am in a different country then my debit card. Can anyone advise me on how to buy coin from Spain with a US debit card?

It varies depending on the network status. The BTC network has been as high as 50USD recently, although now you can get a transaction confirmed for less than 1USD. How long that will last is anyone's guess. The BCH network has no such problems and you can get your transactions into a block
for less than 1cUSD.
