Buying bitcoin without ID, how?

Hi guys - all i want to do is buy bitcoin, but all my banks are offshore company accounts so are not in my actual name. Ive yet to find anywhere where i can just send my funds via a bank transfer to buy bitcoin.

am i going crazy? why is is this so hard?
