Bitcoin.com Wallet BCH & BTC receive address the same!?

Hi,

I just downloaded the iOS Bitcoin.com Wallet and it created successfully my wallet. I have on the screen Bitcoin.com Wallet with 2 wallets: Bitcoin Cash Wallets -> Personal Wallet BCH and Bitcoin Wallets -> Personal Wallet BTC. But why, is my Personal Wallet BCH and my Personal Wallet BTC receive address the same number? I do see if I'm looking closely that the QR Code are different between BCH and BTC wallet within my Bitcoin.com Wallet which make total sense. But, I don't understand why the actual receive address for BCH and BTC are the same? I'm new. Is it an error? What should I do?

The receive addresses are the same because both coins are based on the original Bitcoin and still use the same address format. Because Bitcoin Cash has replay protection though, if you send BTC it will end up in the BTC wallet and BCH will end up in the BCH wallet. No need to worry!

There is talk of changing the address format in an upgrade of the Bitcoin Cash chain early next year. That will make it impossible to send funds to the wrong address because they will no longer match between chains.

I also am very new to all this and have a query. I just bought a small amount of BTC from localbitcoins.com and then transferred it to my Bitcoin.com wallet. Everything seems to have been successful except that the BTC never appeared after the transfer to my wallet. I got a message saying the transaction was complete and the BTC left, but never arrived!!! Anyone have any ideas?
