I'm in Sydney, but I don't mine large-scale. Mined on my GTX 660, which I used to run 24/7 while gaming on my Titan X. Now the 660 is in the hands of my younger brother, and the Titan has been sold for something more... worth it.
Ive done a decent amount of research on the logistics side of things, because it's just quite interesting for me. Happy to help if you have any questions. Got a few pointers -
1. Make sure the electrical in your house isn't too old (that's a worry for me hah)/will be able to handle the high wattage being pulled from the wall.
2. Find a room with adequate cooling. Miners produce more heat than a damn fireplace
3. If you've used nicehash, in sure you're familiar with the practice of mining the most profitable coin, which isn't necessarily the safest, or one with the highest volume on an exchange.
