I wouldn't recommend mining unless you're familiar with Bitcoin and computer hardware in general. I know of a bunch of people who have tried to mine, encountered problems down the line, making the project unprofitable.

Unless you're running a large-scale mining operation (Which I really don't think you should be, US energy prices are high), you also won't be able to pay an "advisor". Profits aren't as marvellous as you think.
