Roger Ver and OKCoin's Star Xu Have Showdown at Scaling Bitcoin In Hong Kong

As we all know, Roger Ver had a dispute over bitcoin.com with Star Xu, and luckily it went bad because now we have this wonderful forum to use

From the conference here's a pic of them having a discussion:



Scaling Bitcoin in Hong Kong is going on right now and lots of big names in bitcoin are attending. Recently photos have come up that have Roger Ver and Star Xu having a showdown, presumably over their prior dispute over the bitcoin.com contract that Ver leased to Xu.

Any body language experts can see what this means?




It looks like in the end it was quite amicable though

Ha great pics, especially the last one. Roger is a stand up guy, gotta give him credit. And I'm actually kind of glad OKCoin went back on the contract, because now we have this awesome forum! I'm sure Roger has mixed feelings on it. I wish there was audio to go along with those pictures though. Maybe Roger will chime in on this thread to give us the low down.

Yeah, I mean if you are the CEO of the company, at the end of the day you are responsible for your employees and staff. If the CTO made a contract with a third party, it should be honored. Also, I don't buy the "I don't know the story" line he kept saying. He knows the story...

It should also be noted that Star Xu came into the conference without buying a ticket or paying the entrance fee like everyone else.

I'm also glad that the silver lining is that we have this new forum, and a better and better Bitcoin.com on the way.

Was any headway made in the dispute between you and OkCoin?

Even if both sides do not get everything they want, I am sure that some kind of compromise would benefit everyone involved.

That was hard to watch. Without knowing the details in this case, Star obviously seems to be the scammer, while Roger behaves like a douchebag.

None at all.
I suppose progress isn't possible when one side is intentionally lying about everything, and willing to forge my signature onto fake contracts.
