Bitcoin.com wallet Could not update transaction history

I bought about 0.01472032 BTC from Simplex and deposited them into the bitcoin.com wallet that I downloaded from the bitcoin.com site. Every time I open this wallet, it says "Could not update transaction history.
Simplex transaction shows on .Blockchain, Bitcoin Wallet from Bitcoin.com Could not update transaction history on Windows-10
and doing it forever on IOS.

Now I got latest version of Bitcoin.com Wallet
It shows no Transactions yet????
it do show on Blockchain on 2017-11-11 (10 day from now!)

Please email wallet@bitcoin.com and we will look into this matter for you. In the meantime I will see what i can find out.

In settings, look for wallet activation. After been activated everything is fine .

I see no option anywhere to "activate wallet"

I have had no previous transaction. Does it require a previous transaction for one to overcome this error?
