Converting bitcoin to cash

Mon Nov 13, 2017 9:50 am

Hi All
I'm looking at selling my services for bitcoin but am wondering if it is possible to covert some of the bitcoin I earn into cash so I can pay household bills such as rent and electricity. Is this possible? If so, how is it done?

Of course, yes, there is many mane exchanges, that will allow you sell your BTC and exchange it for cash.

Keep in mind, that 99% of exchanges require verification before you can exchange crypto/cash or cash/crypto. Usually you have to upload your passport/ID, proof of residence and wait for approval.

As other have already mentioned If you want to "cash out" some bitcoins then you will need to withdraw them to your bitcoin wallet and then sell them either to someone you know or on a bitcoin exchange.
We would recommend that you try one of the following exchanges, they are some of the biggest and most reliable.

- Kraken: https://kraken.com
- Bitstamp: https://bitstamp.net
- Gemini: https://Gemini.com (USA only)

You can also try https://localbitcoins.com and maybe able to find someone in your local area to meet and trade.

Best of luck :)
